Pixie and Bill’s, established in 1971, offers a fantastic dining experience. The current owner is always present, ensuring everything runs smoothly, and the service reflects her care. While the bar is first come, first serve, tables do require reservations due to the restaurant’s popularity, which is a testament to the quality of the food. The ambiance feels like a throwback to a 70s hunting lodge, which may be a bit dark for some, but the food more than makes up for it. I had the veal piccata with capers, angel hair, and asparagus, and it was excellent. The Apple Martini was also a highlight. The waiter was genuinely nice, adding to the overall experience. It’s a great spot for a fancy meal in Clemson!
I see why this place is irreplaceable!!!! A piece of a families History. We sat at bar and owners grand daughter was a Huge Delight!!!! The food is all a 12 out of 10!!! U Can't Go Wrong with whatever you order. Enjoy!!!
This is a great place. Very packed house is always a great sign. Our table spot on the enclosed porch could have been better. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meal. The steaks and crab cakes were excellent. This is a family restaurant and there’s a lot of pride in providing their guests with an excellent night out. Our waitress was supposed to be off but came in because they were short staffed. I’ve worked in restaurants and this says a lot to me about the entire organization. Definitely give this place a try!
We started off with a loaf of buttery white bread which was excellent and a glass of water. After that we got a greek pizza appetizer which was amazing. The freshness of the vegetables combined with the taste of the crust was incredible. Our entrees were unmatched! My son's pasta was amazing, it was creamy and had good flavor and the chicken it came with was perfectly cooked and juicy and flavorful and all in all amazing. Even the vegetables which are usually bad when they come with pasta or any other meal were amazing. The broccoli, squash, and carrots were perfectly steamed with a little lemony flavor combined with a great seasoning. My steak with mushrooms and mashed potatoes has got to be the best food I've had in a while. The steak was perfectly seasoned and juicy, it had this sweet and smoky sauce that was unmatched. The mashed potatoes were buttery and perfectly put together. The mushrooms were amazing as well! A young man greeted us and was very attentive and always checked up on us. It is a more pricy restaurant but it is worth every penny. The atmosphere is very elegant and warm. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone, it's a shame that we were only here on vacation and live so far from an amazing restaurant.
The Pixie & Bill’s Mixed Grill : Filet medallions basted in a soy-ginger Dijon sauce, sauteed seafood cake, and blackened shrimp. Served with garlic mashed potato and grilled zucchini. Rum Runner’s Rib Eye : Spice rubbed and grilled, served in a dark rum and soy marinade, with sauteed mushrooms and garlic mashed potato. Awesome!
Great service and food. I sat at the bar and my drink order was immediately taken and I was given a food menu. I ordered the shrimp and grits and the food came out hot within 20 minutes. The bartender was very attentive and had casual conversations with multiple customers while making sure everyone was good to go. Overall a great experience.
Wow I loved this restaurant!! It was very comfortable , the service was wonderful ( Shouts Out to Chasity she was amazing) outstanding food !! I mean everything was FANTASTIC!! Going back next week! I had a Peach Bellini, my appetizer was a steak, mushroom with red peppers combo Outstanding! And For dinner I had the shrimp,lobster with portobello mushroom pasta Fandamntastic !!!! Picture below
Everything was amazing from the time we walked in. We were seated in a timely manner. Our waitress Marissa was fabulous. Kept our drinks full ( Cosmo)and didn't over bother. She was wonderful. Best waitress I've seen in a long time. The food was so amazing. I order the mixed grill. Blackened shrimp, filet magdallions, crab cake(best) grilled zucchini and rice pilaf. Steak was cooked to perfection. It was all so good!!! Creme bru le for dessert that I failed to get a picture of. But was fabulous as well. If you've never been, just go!! It's so worth it!
